Internship – please circulate

This is a great opportunity for a young person interested in working with religious and intercultural groups, making a positive impact on local neighbourhoods, schools and colleges and on engaging with public policy here in the UK and across Europe.  Please circulate the flyer to your networks and to anyone who may be interested.

LBFN is looking for an intern, shared with the European Network on Religion and Belief and All Faiths and None, who will be based at LBFN’s office in Waterloo, SE1.  The internship is offered from now until the summer and informal interviews are likely to take place on 17th January.

Are you preparing for a career in European or UK advocacy, NGO or government- focused work? Come and join a small London-based team.

Bring your enthusiasm and gain wide experience of community engagement with UK and EU policy-making.

The work will suit (probably) a London-based graduate with experience of inter faith or multifaith engagement, and an interest in education, community work, public policy and dialogue. Candidates should be prepared to work flexibly and be willing to travel, when necessary, to locations in London or further afield.

Travel to work and expenses of normally £10 per day will be paid. The office base is in Waterloo, SE1, and meetings are held throughout London and the Home Counties, with possible occasional trips within the UK and to Brussels.

This is a good chance for someone starting out, not least because they will have the great pleasure of meeting LBFN members and learning about our work.

Find the details on the flyer.
