  1. Dear sir/madam

    What is Together for Sweden?
“Together for Sweden (TFS)” is a three-year-project by Fryshuset in Sweden. The project’s aim is to, through inter-religious guidance and education for young people, counteract xenophobia, racism and extremism. The project is based on the UN declaration of human rights and will use religion as a means of integration and show that religion can be a force to be reckoned with in achieving peace and understanding.

During the previous autumn we have been a group of young people from different religions and beliefs, e.g. christians, muslims, hindues, humanists, jews. Not only have we gotten to know each other as people, we have learnt a lot about each others religions/beliefs. Each meeting has taken place at e.g. a church, a mosque, a synagogue.

This spring we intend to travel to London and deepen our understanding of the inter-religious work that another country works with. London is, to our knowledge, a multicultural and a multireligous capital. We would want to visit your organisation because…
… you work with the same questions we do
… we believe we can learn much from your work
… we will get to know other young people from London in the same life situation as we are in.

We have two dates which we have in mind in coming to London. Either on the 5th to 8th of March or on the 7th to 10th of May. Would any of these dates be suitable for your organisation to welcome us?
We would also like to ask you if you have any suggestions for other organisations working in similar fields that we should contact or visit? Any suggestion is welcome.

Thank you very much for your time. Hope to hear from you soon

  2. Hi I’m hosting a Village fair on the 18th September to celebrate Eid.
It’s a public event and is open to all faiths and backgrounds. Is there anyway we could put up a notice on the what on?

If so please let me know how I go about this. Many thanks

    Abraham
